Refund policy

1. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing by email at cs@vpadistribution.com.

1.1 Conditions for Cancellation

To qualify for a refund:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of notifying us.
  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resaleable condition.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

1.2 Exclusions

The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:

  • Sealed products that have been opened
  • Special order items not normally stocked
  • Hazardous materials (oils, chemicals, lubricants)
  • Products used or installed after delivery

2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

We take great care to ensure products arrive in perfect condition.

If you receive:

  • a faulty product
  • a damaged item
  • an incorrect item

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at cs@vpadistribution.com.

2.1 Faulty Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:

  • A full refund if the item is faulty within 30 days of delivery
  • A repair or replacement if the fault occurs within 6 months
  • Manufacturer warranty support beyond this period (where applicable)

We will cover the return shipping for faulty or incorrect items.


3. Return Process

To return an item, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at cs@vpadistribution.com with your order number and details of the return.
  2. We will provide you with return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return label.
  3. Package the item securely in its original packaging.
  4. Return the parcel using the method provided or instructed.

4. Refunds

Refunds are issued once the returned items have been received and inspected.

4.1 Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.

4.2 Deductions

We may deduct from your refund if:

  • Items are returned damaged
  • Items show signs of use
  • Packaging is missing or incomplete

This deduction reflects the loss in value.


5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.


6. Business Customers

For trade and business customers, different terms apply:

  • Returns are accepted at our discretion
  • Restocking fees may apply
  • Faulty items will follow manufacturer warranty processes

7. Items Lost or Damaged in Return Transit

You are responsible for ensuring items reach us safely when returning products at your own cost.

We recommend:

  • Using tracked shipping
  • Insuring the parcel
  • Keeping proof of postage

We cannot refund items lost in transit where return shipping is your responsibility.
