LASER 7987 C-Frame Socket Press 2.5T With 6 Adapters Bush & Bearing Installation

C-frame socket press allows readily available impact socketry to be used as press cups for various removal and installation jobs on driveline and non-driveline bushes and bearings. The 7987 kit uses specially designed round socket adaptors to prevent the rotational forces from the force screw damaging the sockets.

• 6 round socket adaptors to fit 1/2", 3/8" & 1/4"D sockets; 2 anvil attachments for general bush & bearing extraction and insertion tasks.
• Adaptor diameters: 25 and 28mm. Press drive: 22mm Hex. C-frame working dimensions: 150mm (width) x 90mm (depth).
• Applications include: propshaft universal joints, small suspension bushes, gear linkage bushes, shock absorber bushes, car and LCV wheel studs. Maximum capacity: 2.5 tonnes.
• Designed to allow 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" drive sockets to be used as press cups (always use impact quality sockets).
• Manufactured from high-grade steel for strength and durability. Can be used with 1/2"D impact wrenches not exceeding 500ft-lb (670Nm) of torque. IMPORTANT: ensure the force screw is well lubricated with molybdenum disulphide grease before use.
